We set your backup to run daily, weekly or monthly, whichever suits you. If you’d like, we’ll text you a reminder to plug your backup drive in, timed to when it runs.

Frequently asked
Do I need backups if I use OneDrive?
Yes — cloud sync isn’t the same as backup. If a file is deleted, corrupted or encrypted by ransomware, OneDrive simply syncs that change everywhere. We set up proper, separate backups, including for Microsoft 365, which Microsoft does not back up for you.
What is a 3-2-1 backup?
It’s the gold standard: 3 copies of your data, on 2 different types of media, with 1 copy kept off-site. It means a single failure, theft or ransomware attack can never wipe out everything — and it’s exactly how we set you up.
Can you recover deleted or lost files?
Often, yes — even without a backup in some cases. Stop using the device immediately and contact us straight away; the sooner we act, the better the chance of recovery.
Are your backups safe from ransomware?
Yes — we use protected, versioned and off-site backups so that even if ransomware hits, your clean copies can’t be encrypted or deleted, and we can roll back to before the attack. It pairs with our cybersecurity protection.
How often are backups checked?
On a monthly plan we monitor and verify your backups regularly — because an untested backup isn’t a backup. You’ll know it will actually restore when it matters.
Can you back up our whole business?
Yes — computers, servers, Microsoft 365, email and shared files, all backed up, monitored and recoverable, as part of a business support plan.
Will you remind me to do my backup?
Yes — if you’d like, we offer a scheduled text-message service that reminds you to plug in your backup drive when your backup is due, so it’s one less thing to remember. Just let us know and we’ll set it up for you.
