// GOOD QUESTIONS

Frequently asked

Will you explain things slowly and clearly?

Always. Patient, unhurried help is our specialism — we go at your pace, use plain English, and happily go over anything twice. There’s no such thing as a silly question.

Can my son or daughter arrange help on my behalf?

Yes — families can set up and pay for support for a parent, from anywhere in the country. Our computer help for elderly parents page is written just for them.

I've forgotten my email password — can you help?

Yes, we can help with that. We’ll recover or reset your email safely, get it working on your devices again, and help you keep a sensible record so it’s less stressful next time.

How do I know a computer helper isn't a scammer?

A fair and important question. We always phone you first — we never cold-call, never use pop-ups, you watch everything we do on screen, and our access ends when the session ends. If anyone else rings out of the blue about your computer, put the phone down and call us on 01202 775566.

Do you run computer lessons for older people?

Yes — friendly group classes at the Kinson Community Centre in Bournemouth, plus patient one-to-one lessons online, and free courses you can do at your own pace. See our computer lessons for seniors page, or call for the current timetable.

What does ongoing help cost?

Our home support plan is £18.25 a month per computer — rolling monthly, cancel anytime. It covers help as often as you need it, with updates, security and backups quietly looked after for you.
