Dell support plans with proactive care and a local team to call
A 365 Techies Dell support plan is an independent monthly subscription — from £18.25 a month per computer — that keeps your Dell healthy with proactive maintenance and gives you a real, local Dorset team to phone when something goes wrong. It’s our own plan, not a Dell warranty or Dell ProSupport contract, so it works whether your machine is in or out of Dell’s cover.

What a 365 Techies Dell support plan actually includes
A plan is about stopping problems before they start, and having somewhere friendly to turn when they don’t. Every plan bundles the practical things that keep a Dell laptop or desktop reliable:
- Proactive maintenance — a scheduled health check every six weeks: SSD, RAM and battery health, temperatures, disk clean-outs, Windows and Dell driver tune-ups. This is the same care we describe on our preventative maintenance page, wrapped into one monthly fee — and every service finishes with a written Service Report left on your Desktop: what we did, how your Dell scored for health and performance, and anything worth planning. Proof, not promises.
- Remote support — software, Windows, email, driver and BIOS-guidance fixes over a watching-only Dell remote support session. We phone before we connect, you see the whole screen, and the session ends when the job’s done.
- Priority help — plan members go to the front of the queue, so a same-day response is far more likely when your Dell plays up.
You can keep on top of clean-outs and updates yourself — but on a plan the checks actually happen on schedule instead of “when I remember,” and a battery or drive that’s quietly failing gets spotted before it strands you.
// THE HONEST BIT
It’s an independent plan — not a Dell warranty or ProSupport
Let’s be completely clear, because it matters: a 365 Techies Dell support plan is our own independent plan. We are an independent Dell specialist with 25 years working on Dell machines — we are not a Dell Authorised Service Provider, this is not official Dell warranty repair, and a plan is not Dell ProSupport or any Dell contract.
Why that’s good news: because we’re independent, your plan works the same whether your Dell is brand new or years past its manufacturer cover. When a Dell warranty or ProSupport contract expires, most people are left with nothing and a £-per-call gamble. A plan is the affordable, local alternative — and it happily sits alongside any remaining Dell cover rather than replacing it. If a hardware fault does need parts, that’s handled as a separate out-of-warranty repair (no-fix-no-fee, 12-month warranty on our repairs).
// PRICING
Home and business plans, priced per computer
Plans are priced simply, per machine, so you only pay for the Dells you actually want covered:
- Home plan — from £18.25 a month per computer. Ideal for a household Dell or two: proactive maintenance, remote support and priority help. See home IT support plans for the full picture.
- Business plan — from £24.38 a month per computer. Built for small firms running several Dells who need someone dependable on call — more on our Dell business support and business IT support subscriptions pages.
- Microsoft 365 — £4.85 per user, per month at home (business plans priced per plan), if you’d like us to manage your email and Office licences too.
Those are our real, published prices — 365 Techies is not VAT registered, so there’s nothing to add on top. No inflated call-out fees, no surprise hourly rates when something breaks.
// DIY OR TECHIES?
When to leave your Dell to the techies
Plenty of Dell upkeep is genuinely DIY. You can run Windows Update, empty the recycle bin, and check Task Manager yourself — and we’ll happily point you the right way. But some jobs are where a plan quietly earns its keep:
- A Dell that’s getting slow or hot. You can blow out the vents, but a fan reseat, a repaste or a proper SSD upgrade is better left to us. Your plan’s regular service keeps heat and clutter in check; if a machine actually needs an SSD or extra RAM fitted, we handle that as a straightforward upgrade with any parts quoted up front.
- Windows or driver mystery. Rather than an afternoon of forum-hunting, a quick remote session usually sorts it in minutes.
- Something urgent. When a Dell won’t boot the day before a deadline, plan members get priority — and if it’s truly critical, we can escalate to emergency Dell repair.
- A machine that’s past saving. If your Dell is too old to keep going, we’ll say so honestly and can sort a professionally refurbished Dell from £510 instead of pouring money into repairs.
The point of a plan isn’t to do everything for you — it’s to make sure the right jobs get done, on time, by people who know Dells.
// WHERE WE COVER
Local cover across Dorset — remote everywhere
Most plan support is delivered remotely, so day-to-day help reaches you wherever you are. But being local still counts: for hands-on work we cover Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and the wider Dorset area, with free local collection and no call-out fee. It’s all part of our wider Dell IT support across Dorset — see Dell support in Bournemouth or Dell support in Poole for your area.
We’re a family-run team who’ve been fixing Dells since 1995, open Monday to Friday, 9–5. That means the same familiar faces on the phone, a genuine person answering, and honest advice about whether a job needs a remote fix, a proper service, or a repair. We support Windows Dell laptops and desktops (and Android) — not Apple or Mac — and we don’t touch server or datacentre kit; this is a desktop and laptop plan, plain and simple.

// GOOD QUESTIONS
Frequently asked
Is a 365 Techies Dell support plan the same as Dell ProSupport or a Dell warranty?
No. It’s an independent 365 Techies plan — we are an independent Dell specialist in Bournemouth, not a Dell Authorised Service Provider, and a plan is not Dell ProSupport, not a Dell warranty and not any Dell contract. The upside is that it works whether your Dell is in or out of Dell’s cover.
How much does a Dell support plan cost?
Home plans start from £18.25 a month per computer and business plans from £24.38 a month per computer. If you’d like us to manage Microsoft 365 too, that’s £4.85 per user per month on a home plan; business plans are priced per plan. Those are our real prices — 365 Techies is not VAT registered, so nothing is added on top.
What’s actually included each month?
Proactive maintenance (a scheduled health check roughly every six weeks covering SSD, RAM and battery health, clean-outs and Windows & driver tune-ups), watching-only remote support for software, Windows, email and driver issues, and priority help so you go to the front of the queue when your Dell plays up. Every service also leaves a written Service Report on your Desktop — what we did, how your Dell scored, and anything worth planning — so you can see the plan working.
My Dell’s warranty has expired — is a plan worth it?
That’s exactly who plans suit best. Once a Dell warranty or ProSupport contract ends you’re usually left with pay-per-call costs, whereas a plan gives you predictable monthly cover and a local Dorset team to call. It’s the affordable alternative to a lapsed manufacturer warranty, not a replacement for one.
Is there a long contract or lock-in?
No long tie-in. Plans are a simple monthly subscription per computer, and we’d rather keep you by being useful than by trapping you in a contract. If a machine needs physical parts, that’s handled separately as a no-fix-no-fee repair with a 12-month warranty on our work.
Can you cover more than one Dell, or a whole small business?
Yes — plans are priced per computer, so you can add each Dell you want covered. We look after households and small firms across Bournemouth, Poole and the wider Dorset area, and for business setups we can bundle Microsoft 365 management too, priced per plan.
