Can you get the photos off my Android phone or memory card?
Yes. We copy photos and videos from Android phones, tablets, SD cards and camera memory onto your computer or cloud storage, and can organise them by date or event. We support Windows and Android only — not Apple iPhone, iPad or Mac.
My hard drive is making clicking noises — can you still get my files?
Often, yes, if you stop using it straight away. A clicking or failing drive gets worse every time it spins, so the sooner we see it the better the chances. We copy first and never write to a struggling drive. For severe physical failures we will tell you honestly if a specialist lab is the safer route.
How do I know nothing was lost in the transfer?
We compare the number of files at the source and destination and spot-check a sample at both ends before anything is removed. We never wipe or return the old device until you have confirmed everything you need is there and working.
Is a one-off transfer the same as having backups?
No — and it is an important difference. A transfer is a one-time move of your data to a new place. To keep it safe from future drive failure, loss, theft or ransomware, you need an ongoing, automatic copy. We can set that up too: see backup support.
