Start with the fundamentals
Turn on multi-factor authentication for every account, use strong unique passwords, and switch on the phishing and spam protection built into Microsoft 365.
Watch for impersonation
Many attacks pretend to be the boss or a supplier asking for payment or details. Train staff to verify unusual requests, and consider rules that flag external or spoofed messages.
