There are two easy ways to scan — pick whichever you have to hand.
Scanning with a printer or scanner
Place the document face-down on the glass, then use the printer’s app or the built-in Windows Scan app to capture it. Save it as a PDF somewhere you’ll find it again, like your Documents folder.
Scanning with your phone
No scanner? Your phone is one. On many phones the Notes app (or a free scanner app) has a ‘scan document’ option — hold the phone steady over the document in good light, let it capture, then crop and save as a PDF. From there you can email or upload it. If you’d like a hand, just ask — see printer support.
