Adding a second monitor is usually plug-and-play — Windows does most of the work.
Plug it in
Connect the monitor to a spare port on your computer — usually HDMI or USB-C — turn it on, and select the matching input on the monitor if needed. Windows normally detects it within a few seconds.
Arrange your screens
Go to Settings > System > Display. Choose Extend these displays to use both screens as one big workspace, then drag the screen boxes so they match how the monitors actually sit on your desk. Pick which one is your main screen, and you’re done. If it’s not detected, it’s usually the cable or input — we can help, or sort the right kit via new computer setup.
