This is 365 Bat and Ball, from 365 Techies. It’s free, there’s nothing to install, and there are no adverts. Keep the ball in play with your bat, and break every brick. Where the ball lands on the bat sets where it goes. Catch the capsules for lasers, three balls, a wider bat, and more. Explosive bricks blow up everything around them, even the next explosive. Break bricks one after another for up to five times the points. On levels ten and twenty, the Mothership fires at your bat. Why there are no adverts, and never will be
We’re 365 Techies, a family-run computer support company in Bournemouth, looking after people’s computers since 1995. Lots of our customers love a game of cards, and too many of the free ones are wrapped in adverts — pop-ups between games, videos you have to sit through, buttons that are really adverts. So we made our own.
There are no adverts, nothing to buy and nothing to sign up for — just the game. We’re paid for looking after computers, not for your attention, so there’s nothing to sell you here. If your computer ever plays up, that’s what we do: 01202 775566.
/03 — HOW TO PLAY
How to play 365 Bat & Ball
- The aim: keep the ball in play with your bat and break every brick to finish the level.
- Move the bat with the mouse (the easiest), the arrow keys, or by dragging on a tablet. Space, a click or a tap launches the ball.
- Aim with the bat: where the ball lands on it sets where it goes — near an end sends it off at an angle. Moving the bat as it lands steers it further.
- Runs: break bricks one after another before the ball comes back to the bat — the bar at the top fills, and the points go up to five times.
- Little invaders drift down from the hatches and knock the ball about — 100 points each. On levels 10 and 20 the Mothership fires at your bat: dodge, and keep hitting it.

/04 — BRICKS AND CAPSULES
Exploding bricks, and nine capsules to catch
Coloured bricks break at a touch. Silver takes a few hits, steel never breaks, gold always drops a capsule, and explosive bricks (the striped ones) blow up everything round them — even the next explosive. On some levels the bricks slide from side to side.

/05 — HIGH SCORES
A Hall of Fame for every speed
- The Hall of Fame — a board for each speed: today, this week, all time and your town. Finish with a good score and you can put your initials and town on it, if you like. The title screen shows today’s top score to beat.
- Challenge a friend — when the game ends, send the link and see if they can beat your score.
- My scores and trophies — games played, your best and today’s best, kept in your browser, with a trophy cabinet shared by all our games. To carry your scores to another device, use Keep my scores.

Arcade and card games, all free with no adverts

What is the Hall of Fame?
When a game ends with a good score, you can put your initials and town on the board — for today, this week, all time and your town, with a board for each speed. Only if you choose to. Each score is checked against how long the game lasted, so nobody can simply make one up, and the title screen shows today’s top score to beat.
