This is 365 Eclipse, a 3D jet shooter from 365 Techies. It’s free, there’s nothing to install, and there are no adverts. Choose your fighter, then fly seven stages, from the harbour to orbit. Catch the lettered pods for new guns, rockets and wingmen. And press Bomb to clear the screen. Every stage ends with a boss. Shoot its guns off first, then the core. Then up through the clouds, and out into space, under the eclipse. Gentle gives you five fighters and a shield, and your best scores go in the Hall of Fame. Play free at 365techies.co.uk. No adverts. Why there are no adverts, and never will be
We’re 365 Techies, a family-run computer support company in Bournemouth, looking after people’s computers since 1995. Lots of our customers love a game of cards, and too many of the free ones are wrapped in adverts — pop-ups between games, videos you have to sit through, buttons that are really adverts. So we made our own.
There are no adverts, nothing to buy and nothing to sign up for — just the game. We’re paid for looking after computers, not for your attention, so there’s nothing to sell you here. If your computer ever plays up, that’s what we do: 01202 775566.
/03 — HOW TO PLAY
How to play 365 Eclipse
- You fire when you choose. Hold Space or the mouse button (on a tablet, the Fire button) to shoot; tap it quickly and you fire faster still.
- Fly with the arrow keys (or W A S D), the mouse, or by dragging anywhere on the screen. Only the tiny white dot in the middle of your fighter can be hit.
- Catch the pods. Square gun pods: V Vulcan, S Spread, L Laser that goes through everything, T Thunder that bends to its target — the same letter again powers your gun up, to 4. Round rocket pods: R Rockets, H Homing missiles, C Cluster shells. Six-sided bonus pods: B an extra bomb, + a shield, W a wingman (up to two), ×2 double points for 20 seconds.
- Bombs: press B, right-click or Bomb for a carpet of blasts that clears every bullet. Up to seven.
- Bosses: shoot off their guns for 5,000 each — the core takes half damage while its guns stand.
Shoot down a whole flight and the last one leaves a pod. Tanks, buildings, ships and trains leave gold medals: catch them one after another and each is worth more, up to 10,000. P pauses.

The seven stages: Harbour, City, Desert Base, Above the Clouds, Arctic Sea, Canyon Fortress and Eclipse — each with a mid-boss, and a boss to finish: the Leviathan, the Thunderhead, the Colossus, the Stormcrow, the Kraken, the Citadel and the Eclipse itself.
Three speeds: Gentle gives you five fighters and a two-hit shield; Classic and Fast are for when you’re ready. There’s an optional techno track in Settings.

A Hall of Fame for every speed
- The Hall of Fame — a board for each speed: today, this week, all time and your town. Finish with a good score and you can put your initials and town on it, if you like. The title screen shows today’s top score to beat.
- Challenge a friend — when the game ends, send the link and see if they can beat your score.
- My scores and trophies — games played, your best and today’s best, kept in your browser, with a trophy cabinet shared by all our games. To carry your scores to another device, use Keep my scores.

Which fighter should I pick?
Striker is a good start, with the Spread gun and Rockets. Swift is the quickest, Titan is slow but shielded, and Wraith has Thunder and Homing missiles. You can change in Settings before your next game.
Does it need a fast computer?
It’s 3D, so a newer PC, tablet or phone looks best — but it plays in any up-to-date browser, and a computer without 3D graphics gets a plain flat picture instead.
Do I need to download or install anything?
No. It plays in your web browser — Edge, Chrome, Safari or Firefox — with nothing to install and no sign-in. If you use our free Windows app, 365 PC Manager, it’s in its Games menu too.
Can I play on a tablet or phone?
Yes. Drag anywhere to fly, hold Fire to shoot, and Bomb clears the screen.
What is the Hall of Fame?
When a game ends with a good score, you can put your initials and town on the board — for today, this week, all time and your town, with a board for each speed. Only if you choose to. Each score is checked against how long the game lasted, so nobody can simply make one up, and the title screen shows today’s top score to beat.
