About us
These terms apply to IT support and services provided by 365 Techies Limited (company number 11073501), Bournemouth, Dorset. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, London, Greater London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, and this website is 365techies.co.uk. By using our services you agree to these terms.
Our services
We provide monthly IT support plans and one-off IT services for homes and businesses, as described on our website. We also supply hardware and software. The specifics of your service depend on the plan or work you choose.
Buying hardware and software from us
We supply refurbished Dell laptops and desktops, new parts and upgrades, and software. Refurbished machines are pre-owned. Each one is professionally checked, cleaned and tested, and we tell you its age, condition and specification before you buy. What you receive is the machine we described — a good one, honestly sold, not a brand-new one.
Machines bought on our website are sent anywhere in the UK by tracked courier for £15, usually within two working days of your order. We deliver to UK addresses only.
Plans, payment and Direct Debit
Monthly plans are paid in advance by Direct Debit (via GoCardless). One-off work is quoted and agreed before we begin. Prices are shown on our website or in your quote.
Cancelling a monthly plan
Our monthly plans are rolling and cancel-anytime — there is no long lock-in contract. Just let us know and we’ll stop your plan at the end of your current period.
Business Care and Microsoft 365 licences
We supply Microsoft 365 business licences as part of our business support: in Business Care and Business Care Plus, or added to a business support plan you already have. The support is month to month, like our other plans, and is paid monthly by Direct Debit at the price on our website when you ordered.
The Microsoft 365 licences we buy for you run on Microsoft’s 12-month term. Microsoft lets them be cancelled or reduced within 7 days of the order; after that they run to the end of the 12 months. If you leave Business Care, or stop the licences, before the end of a 12-month year, we charge the licences to the end of that year at our price for the licence on its own, shown on our website. The licences renew for another 12 months unless you tell us before the renewal date that you want to stop or change them, and if our price is changing we tell you before then. You can add people at any time. Microsoft asks every business customer to accept the Microsoft Customer Agreement, and we place an order only after a person here has checked it.
Changing your mind about something you bought — your 14-day right
If you are a consumer and you bought from us at a distance — online, by phone, by email, or anywhere other than face to face — you have the right to change your mind for 14 days, starting the day after the goods reach you. You do not have to give a reason.
- Tell us. Email help@365techies.co.uk, call 01202 775566, or write to the address on your invoice. A clear statement that you are cancelling is all we need.
- Return the goods within 14 days of telling us. Returning them is free. We will collect free of charge anywhere in our normal service area — the same free collection we offer for repairs — and anywhere else in the UK we send you a prepaid returns label.
- We refund within 14 days of getting the goods back, or of you showing us proof of postage, whichever comes first. The refund goes back to the way you paid, and includes the standard delivery cost you paid to receive them.
- Look after them in the meantime. You are welcome to inspect and set up a machine as you would in a shop. If it comes back damaged or used beyond that, we may reduce the refund to reflect it.
Two things this right does not cover: a computer we built or configured to your own specification, and software once its seal has been broken or its licence activated. If either turns out to be faulty, everything in the next section still applies.
If we have already started work
If you ask us to begin during those 14 days and then change your mind, you pay a fair amount for the work we have already done — not the whole job. Once we have finished the work you asked for, the 14-day right no longer applies to it.
If something is faulty
Nothing on this page affects your legal rights. Anything we sell you must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. For a refurbished machine that is judged against its age, price and description, not against a new one.
If something is faulty you have 30 days to reject it for a full refund. After that we will repair or replace it, and if that does not put things right you can ask for a refund or a reduction in price. Our own guarantees below sit on top of these rights — they never replace them.
The promises we make
These are commitments, not marketing. If we ever fall short of one, tell us and we will put it right.
- No call-out fee. We do not charge for travelling to you or for turning up. You pay for the work agreed and nothing else.
- No fix, no fee. If we cannot fix your device, you do not pay for the diagnosis.
- 12-month repair warranty on the work we carry out.
- 5-year guarantee on the Dell laptops and desktops we supply, for as long as you are on a 365 support plan.
Each one is set out in full on our guarantees page.
Business customers
The 14-day right to change your mind, and the consumer protections described above, apply to consumers. If you are buying for a business they do not apply, and your rights are those set out in these terms and in the quote or contract we agree with you.
Your responsibilities
- Give us the access and accurate information we need to help you.
- Hold appropriate licences for your software.
- Keep your own copies of critical data where advised; we’ll always recommend and can manage proper backups.
Remote support
Remote support is provided over encrypted Splashtop SOS, with your consent and while you watch on screen. Access ends when the session ends.
Our liability
We take great care in everything we do. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the services provided. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under law.
365 PC Manager’s optional key
365 PC Manager is free to use anywhere. The optional “Unlock everything” key is sold in the UK, to a PC that isn’t on one of our support plans, and outside the UK. It has its own terms and our 30-day refund promise: see 365 PC Manager licence and refunds.
Data protection
We handle your personal data in line with our privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be on this page.
