How much does it cost?
£125 a month for Care & Search on your existing website, whatever it’s built on. A rebuild is a fixed £2,450 for up to 25 pages. After a rebuild, the Managed plan is £250 a month including hosting. Every plan is 30-day rolling — no long tie-in. We’re not VAT registered, so the price you see is the price you pay.
Do I have to have a new website to start?
No — and we’d rather you didn’t. Start with Care & Search on the site you already have. You get a new page, a technical improvement, an hour of changes and a proper report every month. If after a few months your site is genuinely holding you back, we’ll talk about rebuilding it. Plenty of businesses never need to.
My site is WordPress — can you look after it?
We’ll happily do the Care & Search work on a WordPress site: Search Console, content, reports and changes. What we don’t do is take responsibility for WordPress core, plugin and security patching. Doing that properly means someone on call the day a plugin flaw is published, and we won’t take money for a promise we can’t keep to that standard. If patching is what you need, you want a dedicated WordPress maintenance firm — we’ll say so honestly.
Can you guarantee I’ll rank number one?
No, and please be wary of anyone who does. Nobody controls Google. What we do guarantee is the work: the page, the improvement, the hour of changes and the report, every month, or you don’t pay for that month. Rankings are the aim — the work is the promise.
What about AI — ChatGPT, Google’s AI answers?
We build your site so AI assistants can read it and cite it properly — clean structure, clear answers, proper markup. It’s included, not an extra. But we won’t sell you an “AI traffic” package: for a local business, AI referrals are still a very small share of visits, and anyone quoting you big numbers for it is guessing.
What if I want to leave?
You take everything and go, with our help. Your domain, hosting and Google accounts are in your name from day one — we never hold them. On request we hand over an Exit Pack: every page as a file, your content, your redirects and your Search Console access, plus a written summary of what we did. We’ve rescued enough people from firms that work the other way.
How long does a rebuild take, and will my Google traffic dip?
Usually three to five weeks. And yes — be ready for a dip: when addresses change, Google takes time to recrawl, and a temporary dip lasting a few weeks is normal, even done perfectly. We put that in writing before you agree, map every old address to a new one, and leave the old site up while it settles. Anyone who tells you there’s no dip has either not done it or isn’t telling you.
