// WI-FI INSTALLATION

Professional Wi-Fi installation in Dorset

A proper, planned Wi-Fi installation for your home or business — we survey your building, place and mount the right access points, run the cabling, configure everything securely and hand it over working in every room. Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and across Dorset. Rated 4.9 on Google.

  • ● On-site survey first
  • ● Mounted & cabled neatly
  • ● Set up secure, handed over working

Buying a mesh kit off the shelf and hoping it reaches is one thing. A proper Wi-Fi installation is another — someone walking your building, working out where the signal actually struggles, mounting access points in the right spots, running cable where it needs to go, and configuring it all so it just works. That is what this page is about: the install job itself, done once and done properly.

We have been wiring up homes and small businesses across Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset since 1995. Whether it is a three-storey house with a stubborn back bedroom, a thick-walled stone cottage, a holiday let that needs guest Wi-Fi, or an office that has outgrown its single router, we plan the install around your building rather than selling you a box and wishing you luck. (Windows and Android devices — we do not support Apple Mac, iPhone or iPad.)

// WHAT WE COVER

Wi-Fi Installation that just works

On-site Wi-Fi survey

We walk the building first — measuring signal, spotting thick walls, dead zones and interference — so access points go where they are genuinely needed, not where it is convenient.

Access point placement & mounting

Wall- or ceiling-mounted access points and mesh nodes, sited for full overlap and tidily fixed — no router balanced on a windowsill trailing wires across the room.

Cabling & wired backhaul

Where it helps, we run Ethernet so access points talk over cable rather than fighting for airtime. Wired backhaul is the single biggest upgrade to a flaky network.

Secure setup & guest network

Strong WPA encryption, a sensible network name, a separate guest network so visitors never touch your main one, and the router's default admin password changed.

Whole-home & multi-storey

Three floors, an extension, a garden office or a converted loft — we design coverage that reaches every room and out to the spaces you actually use.

Tested & handed over working

We test in every room with you, connect your key devices, label what matters and leave you with Wi-Fi that works — plus someone to call if it ever does not.

// HOW IT WORKS

Simple, honest, sorted

  1. 01

    We survey your building

    On-site, we measure your current signal, find the dead zones and bottlenecks, and map out where access points and cabling should go for full, reliable coverage.

  2. 02

    We install & configure

    We mount the access points or mesh nodes, run any cabling neatly, set up the router and network securely, and connect your devices — all in one visit where we can.

  3. 03

    We test & hand over

    We walk the building with you confirming strong signal room by room, set up your guest network, and leave clear notes. Ongoing care is available on a monthly plan.

// GOOD QUESTIONS

Frequently asked

What is the difference between Wi-Fi installation and Wi-Fi support?

Wi-Fi installation is the planned job of putting in a new network from scratch — surveying the building, mounting access points, running cable and configuring everything. Wi-Fi support is the ongoing fixing of an existing network when speeds drop or rooms lose signal. If you already have Wi-Fi that has gone wrong rather than needing a fresh install, see our Wi-Fi support page.

Do you survey the building before installing?

Yes — always, where we possibly can. A proper on-site survey is what separates a real installation from plugging in a box and hoping. We measure your current signal, identify thick walls, dead zones and sources of interference, and plan where access points and cabling should go. It is the single biggest reason an install actually works.

How much does Wi-Fi installation cost?

It depends on the size of the building, how many access points you need and whether cabling is involved — a one-room top-up is very different to wiring a three-storey house or an office. We do not quote a fixed figure online because every building is different. Tell us about your place via our contact page or book a service and we will give you a clear, honest quote. Ongoing care can be folded into a monthly support plan.

Will you run cables, or is it all wireless?

Both, depending on what your building needs. Pure wireless mesh is fine for smaller homes, but for larger or multi-storey buildings, running Ethernet so access points connect over cable ("wired backhaul") gives far more reliable, faster Wi-Fi. We will recommend the right mix and run any cabling neatly as part of the install.

Do you install Wi-Fi for businesses as well as homes?

Yes. We install reliable networks for small businesses, offices, holiday lets, shops and home workers across Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and Dorset — with secure staff Wi-Fi, separate guest access and wired connections where needed. Ask us about a business support plan to keep it looked after afterwards.

Ready for Wi-Fi that reaches every room?

Tell us about your home or business and we will survey, plan and install Wi-Fi that just works — then keep an eye on it if you like. Call, book online or drop us a message.
